Design of the Push-To-Connect™ Gun Mount
The Push-To-Connect™ gun mount is a bifurcated design. The A half is permanently mounted to the dispense gun and has a male molex interface connector. The B half is permanently mounted to the automation cell’s fluid dispensing station, has a female molex interface connector, and a 30-foot electrical cord connecting to the SmartDispenser® mounted in the automation cell’s electronic cabinet.
What to Do When Syringe is Empty or in Automation Cell
When the syringe is in the automation cell or empty, remove the entire dispense gun with a simple wrist caulking motion and place it in the gun tray using a similar motion. The SmartDispenser® fluid dispensing gun tray transports pre filled Push-To-Connect™ fluid dispense guns between the SmartDispenser® priming station to the SmartDispenser® automated production cell.
Details About the Tray
Made from powder coated aluminum, the tray is durable and scratch resistant made to withstand the manufacturing environment. Remove the USB memory stick from the SmartDispenser® priming station and insert into the travel port located on the gun tray. When ready, using both hands pick up the gun tray and transport the push to connect dispense guns to the automated production cell.
Remove the Push-To-Connect Dispense Guns
Next, remove the Push-To-Connect™ dispense guns from the gun tray with a slight caulking motion and insert into the Push-To-Connect™ adapter located on the mount in the automated production cell. The dispense gun is properly seeded when the Push-To-Connect™ clicks into place completing the electrical connection between the dispense gun and the SmartDispenser®. Restart the automation cell.
