In an automated production cell it is important the first dispense is a accurate as the last.  When attaching a new filled syringe and dispense tip to a liquid dispense gun there is a gap of air between the opening of the filled syringe and the opening of the dispense tip.  It is necessary to push the fluid forward (Prime) to the end of the dispense tip so a good fluid deposit is dispensed on the first dispense.  Coordinating the priming process with the automated production cell is done by the SmartDispenser^® Priming System and the USB memory stick.
