Customize your SmartDispenser® with the Work Order Tracker SmartApp™

A major manufacturer of medical devices wanted the ability to track how many parts are made per work order, and to use that information to document traceability.

Once installed, the Work Order Tracker SmartApp,™ allows the operator to manually enter or bar code scan the work order number, produce the required parts and end the work order assembly process.

As soon as the End Work Order button (W.O.) is selected a Work Order Tracker PDF file is automatically created. The file documents all key production data, in real time, for the assembly process associated with the work order. This not only helps to reduce human error, but it also enables the medical device manufacturer to meet regulatory requirements by documenting traceability.

Work Order Tracker SmartApp™ offers two options of where to store and retrieve key production data–

Option 1: The Work Order Tracker PDF file is automatically stored on the SmartDispenser®’s hard drive which is accessible via the Device History icon on the home menu.

Option 2: The Work Order Tracker PDF file is automatically sent to a shared folder on a secure local server that is selected by a supervisor/administrator.

Management is always in the loop with the Work Order Tracker SmartApp™

Management has access to all key production data, in real time, from each and every SmartDispenser™ fluid dispensing system operating on the production line. This capability assures that those in charge have automatic documented traceability right at the point of fluid dispense.
